My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet friendly Charlie Brown. He is approximately 4 years old and is a lab aussie mix. He came back into rescue because his owner (who adopted him from ARM a year ago) had a severe head injury & could no longer take care of him. He is currently about 70 lbs but should weigh about 50 lbs so is currently trimming down. He loves all people and is happiest wherever his humans are. Due to being so people oriented his foster believes a fence is not a requirement. He sometimes needs a reminder to keep his paws on the ground when getting his human’s attention, but is full of love for them and happily lays at your feet or nearby. He has not had any accidents in the house. Charlie gets along fine with other dogs, but sometimes needs a reminder to give them their space when he wants to play. He is crate trained. He recently had a bath at the dog wash and he was a very good, calm boy. He has not been around cats, but his foster does not believe he would chase them.

All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers. We need an approved application on file to set up a meeting with a dog you might be interested in. You can find our application at www.aussierescuemn.com. All dogs have an adoption fee of $300 plus MN sales tax. We pride ourselves on matches that are awesome for both the dog and your family. Aussie Rescue of MN is here for support, advice and as a safety net for our dogs for the rest of their lives. See less
