Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hudson is a 5 year old black tri color mini Aussie. Hudson has been loved and adored since he was a puppy but as his family had children his reactivity became an issue when the children wouldn’t respect his space.
Hudson is now looking for a family without young children and who can love and adore him for the rest of his life. Hudson is good on walks but will bark at other dogs if they bark at him. Hudson is good with cats and other calm dogs. He does not get along with dogs who don’t respect him when he doesn’t want to play. Hudson gets groomed regularly and does great with it.
He is the most loyal pup and once he declares you as his person, you will have a best friend for life. It does take him a little while to warm up to new people and he will need patience but once he’s settled in he’s very snuggly and sweet.
The details:
Needs fence: no, but hasn't been off leash much outside a fence
Good with dogs: Yes,
Good with cats: yes
Good with kids: no
All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers. We need an approved application on file to set up a meeting with a dog you might be interested in. You can find our application at www.aussierescuemn.com. All dogs have an adoption fee of $400 plus MN sales tax. We pride ourselves on matches that are awesome for both the dog and your family. Aussie Rescue of MN is here for support, advice and as a safety net for our dogs for the rest of their lives.
