My story

This handsome blue-eyed gentleman came to us by way of Clewiston Animal Control, as they were out of space. He also came to us with a fracture of his right front paw. As we always do, we went the extra mile and then some for Liberty. He had an orthopedic consult with our favorite specialist in Naples. The consult led to surgery, an arthrodesis, and a very lengthy recovery period.

Now fully healed, Liberty is ready to find a kind and loving forever home. Why not come out and stare into these blue eyes today!

My ideal home:

I'm not good with:

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
