My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We don’t know much about Bandito’s past. He was found wandering alone on Bayshore Rd and was transferred to ARC from LCDAS. What we do know is that this little guy is incredibly sweet—his fast-wagging tail says it all! Bandito is always happy to see people and soak up the love.

Bandito has tested positive for heartworms and will need to complete treatment prior to adoption. However, potential adopters are welcome to apply and come meet him during his treatment journey. This happy boy would love to meet his future family and have something special to wag his tail for.

Why not complete an application and schedule your appointment to meet this sweet boy?

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
