My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spears here!

I’m officially the last of the Pickle litter since my sister Chip got adopted this past weekend. I cannot wait to find my own home too. I am a 7 month old spayed bulldog mix weighing in at 39 lbs., and have all of the qualities that people look for in the perfect companion:
✔️  Love dogs and I’m living with 4 currently, from 20 - 70 lbs.
✔️  I am fostered with a family that has donkeys, pigs, goats and chickens and do great with all of them. I have shown no prey drive so should do well with a kitty too!
✔️  I am a little timid meeting new friends, but super friendly and really enjoy them once I get comfortable.
✔️  I am excellent with little kids, as long as they’re okay with an occasional puppy kiss!
✔️  I love car rides and would make a great companion for some local adventures.
✔️  House and crate trained and walk well on a leash.
✔️  I have a sweet, playful and submissive personality.
✔️  Up to date on vaccines and preventives.

I am really looking forward to meeting a family that I can call my own and hope you will consider me. I will be waiting in Wellsville, PA until then

We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs.  Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization, and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.
