My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org***

This is silly little Ginger.  She and her sister Mary Anne were born summer of 2021 and lived in a foster home until she was old enough to join the kitties at the shelter.  Ginger loves to play and hang out waiting her turn to get pets.  She is often seen hanging out with her equally silly sister Mary Anne.  The two love to run on the cat wheel together and make quite the pair! You should see how fast they can get the wheel to spin around.....go kitty power!  Even though the two girls had been separated for awhile, it took no time at all for them to remember one another and become fast friends once again. The two girls would make a great addition to about any home and we are pretty sure they would love kids too since they are so friendly.  Ginger is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.  As always our cat and kitten adoption fee is free will to approved applicants.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
