Meet Loki! He is a 5 yr old neutered male mixed breed, possibly Carolina/Australian Cattle dog mix that weighs 54 lbs. He came in as a stray to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 5/16 with his sibling Adam. The shelter reached out to their owners but they decided not to reclaim them. And this very handsome boy has found himself up for adoption. He walks well on a leash, knows the sit command and takes treats gently. He enjoyed investigating the shelter yard but much preferred being inside where it is cool and comfy. He has a great personality, being confident and outgoing. He enjoys playing with squeaky toys, and we enjoyed playing a round of tug of war. When I took a break he was so gentle as he brought the toys back and laid them at my feet. Loki has a loving soul that hopes his forever family will come soon to get him from the shelter. He dreams of having a secured backyard he can play in, but live inside where it is cool. To take long naps on his own dog bed or cuddling close on the couch with his new BFF. Come meet this great boy as you will be smiling the entire time.
