Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Emma Kenney observed that: "Opening up your life to a dog who needs a home is one of the most fulfilling things you can do." And do we have a wonderful dog for you!
Hello, Dolly! This lovely black and tan Hound is 18 months old and weighs 50 pounds.
She is such a sweet and gentle dog and we really enjoy her company.
Dolly was shy at first, but blossomed from the love and care of our dedicated staff and volunteers. We love sitting with Dolly to pet and encourage her and are so grateful for her company. She is always ready for a pet and a cuddle and adores attention and affection.
Dolly enjoys being close by your side for daily walks on our beautiful shelter grounds. Outings in the fenced yard are one of her favorite ways to spend the day.
She has had so much fun in play groups with her shelter companions. If you have another dog, we do require a meet and greet to ensure compatibility.
Lucky Dolly spent some time in the home with one of our dedicated volunteers, and Allison reports:
"Dolly is a curious dog who is still learning the joys of indoor home life. She adores other dogs and would love a playmate if you’re looking to add to your pack. Dolly is cat and dog friendly, and would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy children who understand her need for space and patience as she warms up. Dolly had no potty accidents in our home. She is eagerly awaiting her forever people to adopt her and give her a lifetime of love and leadership."
Her brother, Speckles, is also up for adoption.

Please come visit! We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
