My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kale is a sweet heart, but she is still learning about people! Kale was a loose dog, unowned or cared for, picked up as a stray. She crates at night and plays with her pack friends in a secure fenced yard. She is walking on a leash with a human, but still does not want pets or snuggles. If you have a calm dog, calm pack and wish to continue Kale’s training, contact me!

Additional adoption info

Persons adopting from me through internet contact are required to show me photos of the area where the dog will spend most of its time, a vet's number and the number of a person who has known the potential adopter for at least 5 years. I do not require a fee, donations are appreciated. If a dog does not work out for the adopter, I can usually take it back right away, but if I have no room, I will work to find a new placement.

More about this rescue

I am a retired public school teacher, mother of 3, grandma of 7, and I do this because I love to join people and pets. I have always been one to bring home strays, so this is just a part of who I am. I own a small hobby farm with dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, sheep and goats..
