Meet Mr. Mittens! This fabulous boy was surrendered by his owner who was no longer able to care for him, so he is now waiting for the PERFECT forever home. This boy deserves it! He’s all that and a bag of chips! Mittens arrived in his foster home ready to meet his temporary family and say hello to everyone. No hiding or shyness from this boy! Everyone is a new friend, and he shows his casual happiness by doing a patented “flop and drop” as soon as someone starts petting him and talking to him. This means he rolls over and waves his paws in the air—an adorable sign of trust that is irresistible! He is fine getting his super-soft belly petted, though occasionally he gets playful and gives tiny love nips, or sometimes just licks your fingers. Speaking of soft, this boy feels like a bunny…he’s actually ridiculously soft for such a dignified gentleman. No one has told him that rolling around while getting petted isn’t so dignified! Mr. Mittens is a low-to-medium energy boy who has lived with other cats and a dog and would do best with a playful, friendly companion. He is guaranteed to become a treasured member of your family. He’s around 2 years old and still gets playful, pouncing on toys and chasing balls and strings. And did we mention how handsome he is??? That floofy tail! Those big cheeks! But don’t worry, he doesn’t mind if you love him for his looks and gorgeous markings—he’ll gladly meet you at your door anyway. Mittens is vaccinated, neutered, and ready for a home of his own.
