She may share a name with the queen of gloom, but our Wednesday is full of sunshine, sass, and just enough mischief to keep you laughing. She's been at Castoff since October 25, 2023, which is way too long for a girl this fabulous to go unnoticed.
Wednesday was found hanging around a gas station—alone, recently having had puppies, and looking like life hadn’t exactly been a walk in the park. Her body said “used and forgotten,” but her eyes? One blue, one brown, both sparkling with hope. They said, “I’m still here, and I’ve got so much love to give.”
Since her arrival, she’s earned the title of Shelter Bowling Ball 🎳—low to the ground, full of momentum, and absolutely rolling her way into hearts. She’s a master of the zoomies, a lover of belly rubs, and a strong believer that squirrels are not to be trusted.

Visit us (by appointment only) at our physical location in Blairsville, GA 30512. Please e-mail us your contact info. and which pet you are interested in. We will happily arrange a meeting with that pet.
We also hold adoptions most Saturdays from 10-4 at the Alpharetta Petsmart. It is located across from the North Point Mall. Also Petco in Milton/Alpharetta. Please e-mail us for specific dates and locations. Not all pets at our shelter are at the adoption event. If you would like to see a certain pet at an event, e-mail us and let us know which one you are interested in.

The mission of Castoff Pet Rescue is to save and nurture homeless dogs; to match companion animals with loving, life-long homes; to foster responsible pet care; to control overpopulation in our community through spay/neuter programs; and to assist other shelters and rescue groups in any endeavor to benefit the animals. We believe that the same kindness, compassion, and generosity we extend to our two-legged neighbors should be given to our four-legged friends because they are not able to speak for themselves.
