Candy Cane is your girl! 🐾 This sweet and sassy lady lives for snuggles, treats, and being your one-and-only shadow. She wants all your attention — and trust us, she earns it with every tail wag and happy bounce. 🥰
✨ Candy’s idea of a perfect day:
• Going for walks (seriously, try saying the word without her doing zoomies) 🐕🦺
• Politely accepting treats like the refined lady she is 🍪
• Zooming around a fenced yard like a joyful little bowling ball 🎾
• Crashing on the couch for serious snuggle time 🛋️
At 50–60 lbs, she’s the perfect size for adventures and cuddles. Candy is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and ready to fill your life with wiggles, love, and loyal companionship.

• She’s not a fan of other animals, so she’d prefer to be your one and only.

Go meet their pets
Visit us (by appointment only) at our physical location in Blairsville, GA 30512. Please e-mail us your contact info. and which pet you are interested in. We will happily arrange a meeting with that pet.
We also hold adoptions most Saturdays from 10-4 at the Alpharetta Petsmart. It is located across from the North Point Mall. Also Petco in Milton/Alpharetta. Please e-mail us for specific dates and locations. Not all pets at our shelter are at the adoption event. If you would like to see a certain pet at an event, e-mail us and let us know which one you are interested in.

The mission of Castoff Pet Rescue is to save and nurture homeless dogs; to match companion animals with loving, life-long homes; to foster responsible pet care; to control overpopulation in our community through spay/neuter programs; and to assist other shelters and rescue groups in any endeavor to benefit the animals. We believe that the same kindness, compassion, and generosity we extend to our two-legged neighbors should be given to our four-legged friends because they are not able to speak for themselves.
