Jada was a stray at a Kansas shelter. We think she was likely dumped as no owner came for her. Jada recovered easily from parvo virus, thankfully and is ready for her furever home!
5 month old Jada, a Great Pyrenees/Saint Bernard mix we think, is a beautiful girl inside and out! She is affectionate, gives kisses, and loves attention from people. Jada has been around children in her foster home and does great with them. Friendly and confident when going new places and meeting new people, Jada will steal your heart! A playful girl, Jada goes 100 miles an hour and then she'll nap for 3 hours! Great with other dogs and submissive in play, Jada needs another dog in her furever home. Jada is very smart and food motivated, doing well with potty training and working on leash training.
*Being fostered in Jackson, MO*
Already weighing in at 50 lbs, Jada is going to be a big girl! She is up to date on core vaccines, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. She will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract with adopter promising to spay/neuter at a later date and must show proof at that time.
Adoption Requirements:
*A secure & visible fence
*A home visit
*A dog in the home
*A vet check with at least a two year vet history
Adopters can be located in Missouri and surrounding states: Kansas, Arkansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Illinois. We are able to help transport to those states.

More about this rescue
Great Pyrenees Rescue of Missouri is dedicated to rescuing Great Pyrenees who are without a home, need medical attention, or just need a safe haven as they transition to their forever home. We are a volunteer, nonprofit rescue, relying solely on your generous donations. We are currently working to establish our rescue facility in St. Clair, Missouri. Until our facility is constructed, we will be foster based only, with fosters in Missouri and surrounding states. We will continue to have fosters after our facility is built. Our facility will allow us to rescue more Pyrenees in need.
