Hello! My name is Bentley and I am a 5 year old French bulldog/Boston terrier mix looking for my forever home! I have a gentle, loving personality and my foster mom describes me as one of the most "easy-going" dogs she has ever had! She also loves my one pointy ear and one floppy ear.
I love going for walks around the neighborhood and playing fetch outside, but I am also interested in relaxation time in the home (preferably on your lap!) I love car rides and trips to the pet store or dog park!
I am crate trained and potty trained. I will occasionally "mark" in the house in places that I smell other dogs, but my foster mom is working with me in teaching me where I am not allowed to do this and I am learning fast!
I get along well with other dogs and tend to have more of a "submissive" personality when I play with my other two foster sisters. I was a little shy at first, but with a slow introduction we have warmed up well with each other! I have never lived in a home with cats, but due to my gentle demeanor I think I would do just fine with them. I am also great with children of all ages!
My skin is a little bit itchy these days, as I think I may have been allergic to something I have been eating, but my foster momma is working on finding me the right food to make the itch go away!
If you're looking for a well mannered, easy going companion to accompany you on your walks or curl up by the fire with, I'm your guy!

Adoption fees are based on the breed, health, age, and behavioral status of each dog. All dogs are microchipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and have had a wellness exam before becoming adoptable. If you are interested in adopting a BHNW dog, please fill out the online application. If you are matched to the dog you are interested in or another dog in our program, you will be contacted by the foster family. Prior to adopting, there is a mandatory home evaluation to ensure your home and family are ready for that dog. We require a contract for all adoptions and there is a two-week trial to ensure a good match. If for any reason you can no longer care for the dog you adopted from us, that dog must be returned to our program.
