My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Suki—Due to no fault of her own, Suki was forced to leave what was supposed to be her secure, forever home. She has adjusted quite well to her new surroundings at ARC and enjoys the attention of staff and volunteers. She does not mind being held and could easily be put in a carrier if needed. She gets along with all the other cats in her house and would not mind sharing her forever home with another kitty or two. Sukie is deaf. But that does in no way stop her from being a loving companion in a secure forever home. Will someone please offer this gentle, good-natured kitty the secure forever home she so clearly deserves.

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
