Meet adorable Stacy, a mixed breed youngster with rat terrier possibly in her breed. She came in as a stray on 3/25 to the Mesquite animal shelter. Stacy weighs 47 pounds and is about 9 months of age. This is one spunky and excitable pup! She is a high-spirited, tail-wagging life-of-the-party kind of girl. She does jump on you, which is not uncommon for a puppy, but needs to be addressed. Manners training would be beneficial for her. She walks OK on a leash. She knows the sit command, will do so for treats and takes them politely. She is not timid or nervous-rather, she is confident and outgoing. She is playful and played with stuffed toys during her evaluation. This friendly, sweet natured girl is a-OK with being shown love and attention. She would make a wonderful addition to the home of a person or family with an active lifestyle that would give her daily playtime, exercise, enrichment, and teach her some additional commands. She needs to be part of the family circle and the best way for that to happen is for her to live inside with her people.
