My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi folks! My name is Spangle and I am a 7 year old 27 lb chocolate cocker boy looking for a forever home. My human reached out to FCCR for help in rehoming me as they are moving and cannot take me with them . Please...no judgement on this...they love me and have done all they can but times are financially hard for some folks and landlords are asking for crazy high "pet security deposits" so...... I am a super chill and friendly boy and I get along great with other dogs. As you can see I have the beginnings of cataracts- FCCR will be taking me for an eye consult to see if I am a candidate for cataract surgery. I can still see but every so often I do bump into things...that's ok though because my hearing and sense of smell are 100%- no treat can be dispensed without my being right there to get one! I have excellent house manners and I enjoy going out in the yard and chasing the wind ...not sure what that means bt foster mommy says I am a funny boy who is happy all the time even when I'm doing nothing. I do have severe allergic reactions to fleas so my new pawrents must always be mindful of that and keep me on flea prevention. If interested in adopting me please fill out an application at www.floridacockerrescue.org ADOPTION FEE: $300.00

More about this rescue

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip.

FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
