Sweet Curly was saved just in time from the euthanasia list, and we truly believe his best days are still ahead of him. The world has not always been kind, but Curly has never stopped being kind in return.
Curly is a soft, sensitive boy who would thrive in a calm, low-traffic home without young children. He would love to have another dog, especially a kind and confident female, to help show him that the world can be safe. Even with his fears, Curly is incredibly sweet and longs for connection. He just needs love on his terms.
Our volunteers Kristinia and Rob have been patiently working with him, and he is blooming. There is not a mean bone in this boy’s body. Earning Curly’s trust is the kind of reward that fills your heart in ways words cannot describe. Truly, it would be like winning the very best trophy.
With time, consistency, and zero pressure, Curly will continue to grow. He is a stunning brindle boy with a soft coat, soulful eyes, and a heart that is quietly waiting for someone who will not give up on him. He does not need perfection. He just needs patience, understanding, and love.

Visit us (by appointment only) at our physical location in Blairsville, GA 30512. Please e-mail us your contact info. and which pet you are interested in. We will happily arrange a meeting with that pet.
We also hold adoptions most Saturdays from 10-4 at the Alpharetta Petsmart. It is located across from the North Point Mall. Also Petco in Milton/Alpharetta. Please e-mail us for specific dates and locations. Not all pets at our shelter are at the adoption event. If you would like to see a certain pet at an event, e-mail us and let us know which one you are interested in.

We believe that the same kindness, compassion, and generosity we extend to our two-legged neighbors should be given to our four-legged friends because they are not able to speak for themselves.
