Dundee is a cute fellow with pretty eyes and quirky stand-up ears! He's also only six months old and he is ALL puppy! He's a 41 pound sandy-colored terrier pit that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 4/23 as a stray. When he first got out into the yard, he explored everything with his nose. He seemed to find every crumb of food that was out in the yard and devoured the scraps. He's frisky, rambunctious, and very eager. He likes to climb. He climbed on the toy box, the play equipment, and on our bench. I think he knows he gets a better perspective being up high! He constantly jumps on you, but does get down when told to do so. However, he's right back to doing it again. For that reason, he would do best with a family with older children until he learns some manners. He was not interested in playing with balls, but that's something you could teach him so that he could run off some of his energy. He comes when he's called. He's very playful with his tail wagging constantly. He walked OK on a leash, occasionally stopping to jump on me. If you're willing to put time into teaching Dundee manners, he is willing to learn! He has so much potential. To top that off he's adorable! He would like a big yard and friends to play with but then to spend family time in the house with his new family!
