Hi, I’m Mountie. I’m a friendly, affectionate cat who loves adult company and will happily curl up in your lap for cuddles. I enjoy being pet almost all the time, playing with my favorite noisy mouse or bell balls, and I’ll even come when you call my name. I’m independent but loving, and I use my litter box perfectly. I do best in a calm, adult-only home. I was surrendered because I was showing aggressive behaviour towards the baby, including biting and scratching. While I’m sweet and cuddly with adults, I’m not comfortable around babies or young children and need a home without them. I’ve gotten along well with other cats in the past, peacefully playing, grooming, and sleeping near them. With the right environment and people who understand cat boundaries, I’m a loving companion who has a lot of affection to give.
