Meet Rosie: A True Warrior Looking for Her Forever Home!
Rosie is a 4-6 year old sweetheart who has overcome so much and is now ready for a fresh start! Rescued in January 2024 during a spay/neuter clinic in the Bahamas, Rosie was at risk of being poisoned if returned to the area she came from. She was supposed to be returned as a part of the clinic process, but we just couldn't put her at risk so we flew her to Florida and into a foster home. Despite everything she’s been through, Rosie is an incredibly loving and kind soul.
Before being rescued, Rosie was likely used for breeding repeatedly. She's undergone a lot of medical care with us and is so resilient. She tested positive for TVT after her rescue and underwent treatment last spring and was deemed cancer free last summer! She also had a hernia removed from her backside last fall. She tested heartworm positive and went through her treatment in November and December and is awaiting her retest. We had to do all treatments in a specific order for her safety, but now Rosie is a healthy, happy girl who is ready to live her best life!
Rosie has been waiting for her forever home since January 2024, and she truly deserves a second chance at a loving, fulfilling life. Could you be the one to give her the forever home she’s been patiently waiting for?
