My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I`m in a foster home! To adopt me, email my foster parent at ahollow@gmail.com.

Delaney is the total package. Whether you want to stay in and cuddle all day or go on an adventure, Delaney is along for the ride! He`s a super sweet and goofy boy who loves to meet new people and play with toys. He`s also very smart and enjoys learning new things - he`s a champion at `sit,` `wait/stay` and `find toy.` Delaney is house- and crate-trained and would love a home where he can have a spot on the couch (or bed!). This amazing boy gets a little excited around other animals and would prefer to be the only pet but has plenty of love to go around! Delaney is the best and he can`t wait to meet you!

More about this shelter

At the Humane Rescue Alliance, we honor more than 150 years of commitment to protecting animals, supporting families, and advocating for positive change to create a world where all animals can thrive. HRA serves as a national leader and local champion for all animals.

With a people-focused, community-based approach, we treat every animal as an individual and emphasize specialized care for both animals and their families. Through our two campuses in the District of Columbia and New Jersey, we are the largest animal services provider in our region – touching the lives of tens of thousands of animals annually through direct rescue, care, and community-based services. Our teams find solutions to both small and big problems, from providing direct care to an animal in crisis to tackling systemic barriers to affordable, pet-friendly housing.
