Here's what the humans have to say about me:
`*Woof* I`m in a foster home. Please reach out to sarahaas290@gmail.com if you`d like to meet me!
Washington Commanders` Defensive End Jake Martin is helping out the big dogs this month with his 55 Rescue Drive! Jake is reducing my adoption fee to only $55!
Hello good people! My name is Lima Bean, and I so want you to meet me and fall in love. I`m a VERY GOOD boy who has a sweet smile and loves cuddles. Plus, I am a ton of fun and a total sweetheart. A tail wag for everyone is my motto. I really LOVE to walk. I can do an easy 3 miles a day so if you are looking for an awesome running buddy, well I’m your dog! Folks tell me that I am a smart and fast learner and very treat motivated. We`re getting in some good routines with Lima Bean, who`s the sweetest.
My foster family says: He`s the perfect balance between snuggly and sporty, so we`ve been enjoying some long walks/runs and plenty of naps too when we`re not playing with balls and getting out our zoomies. We`re continuing to practice our leash manners, especially around other dogs and are learning some new commands too. The Bean already feels like family and we`re so happy to be fostering him!
I`d love a home with kind adopters who can help me refine my leash walking skills and I’d probably be happiest as the only pet but I’m all the pet you need! So, let’s make a date and get to know each other. See you soon!

More about this shelter
At the Humane Rescue Alliance, we honor more than 150 years of commitment to protecting animals, supporting families, and advocating for positive change to create a world where all animals can thrive. HRA serves as a national leader and local champion for all animals.
With a people-focused, community-based approach, we treat every animal as an individual and emphasize specialized care for both animals and their families. Through our two campuses in the District of Columbia and New Jersey, we are the largest animal services provider in our region – touching the lives of tens of thousands of animals annually through direct rescue, care, and community-based services. Our teams find solutions to both small and big problems, from providing direct care to an animal in crisis to tackling systemic barriers to affordable, pet-friendly housing.
