My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dani’s Compatibility:
Dogs - Loves them
Cats - Not her thing
Kids - Kid-approved!

Dani is the kind of dog who makes life better. She’s happy to see you, fun to play with, and easy to love. Dani makes every day brighter, whether she’s carrying around her favorite toy or curling up for a nap after a walk.

She’s lived with dogs and kids and done great with both. She would love to have another dog in the home to be her buddy. Dani has lots of playful energy and really enjoys long walks. She gets excited when she sees other dogs and may pull to say hello, but she’s quiet and friendly.

Dani is housebroken, crate trained, and sleeps well when left alone. She loves stuffies, cozy beds, and being part of the action. Her foster says once she settles into a routine, she’s the perfect mix of playful and relaxed. If your idea of a good time includes belly rubs, fetch breaks, and a four-legged shadow who thinks you’re the greatest, Dani is ready to move in!

More about this shelter

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.

This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
