My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m in a foster home! To adopt me, please email my foster parent at reeya.inquiries@gmail.com

Bunny Hop - or Bunny as we affectionately call him - is the sweetest, gentlest boy who is looking for a new home full of love, attention, and treats! Bunny has had a tough life, and all he really wants is to feel safe and loved. Bunny loves all people IMMEDIATELY. He will greet you with a wagging tail & a toy in his mouth. Bunny also absolutely loves all dogs - he has had play dates with all times of friends, from a 8-week-old pittie mix to a 5-year-old yorkie to a 11-year-old golden retriever. Bunny matches the energy of his playmate and thrives most when he is around another dog.

Bunny is also sweet as can be - he likes to rest his big head on your lap, cuddle in bed, and stare at you with the biggest goofy eyes. Bunny is a little clumsy and will keep you laughing, whether he is running into walls or falling off sofas in his sleep. Bunny loves to play tug of war, go on car rides, and play in the water. Bunny is a good eater and walker, he is crate and potty trained, and now he just wants to feel love forever. If Bunny may be a good fit for you, please reach out!

More about this shelter

At the Humane Rescue Alliance, we honor more than 150 years of commitment to protecting animals, supporting families, and advocating for positive change to create a world where all animals can thrive. HRA serves as a national leader and local champion for all animals.

With a people-focused, community-based approach, we treat every animal as an individual and emphasize specialized care for both animals and their families. Through our two campuses in the District of Columbia and New Jersey, we are the largest animal services provider in our region – touching the lives of tens of thousands of animals annually through direct rescue, care, and community-based services. Our teams find solutions to both small and big problems, from providing direct care to an animal in crisis to tackling systemic barriers to affordable, pet-friendly housing.
