My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Irwin – Your Big, Goofy Valentine!

Looking for a love that comes with full-body wiggles, endless enthusiasm, and a heart as big as the holiday itself? Meet Irwin! This lovable goofball is ready to find his forever family—and he’s bringing plenty of charm and joy along with him.

Irwin has grown into a big, happy dog with a wonderfully puppy-like spirit. He’s put on a little extra weight, so he’s hoping to find a Valentine who’s excited to share regular walks, healthy routines, and feel-good adventures to help him stay happy and thriving.

Irwin has lived with kids before and truly adores them. However, because he has absolutely no concept of personal space (his love language is very enthusiastic closeness!), he isn’t toddler-approved. A home with older, dog-savvy kids who can appreciate a big, affectionate presence would be the sweetest match. As always, a full family meet-and-greet is encouraged to make sure hearts align.

On walks, Irwin is thrilled to see other dogs and greets them with his signature joyful energy. He’ll need a family committed to continued training—especially polishing his leash manners and helping him channel that excitement in positive ways. He hasn’t lived with other dogs or cats, so slow, thoughtful introductions will be important for future friendships.

Irwin is also a big fan of cozy downtime. He does well in his crate when left alone (which helps keep his playful curiosity out of trouble!) and absolutely loves toys—if it squeaks, bounces, or can be proudly paraded around, it’s already his favorite. He rides nicely in the car and is always ready for new adventures, fun outings, and lots of sniff-filled exploring.

With walks, training time, and other positive outlets for his energy, Irwin truly shines. And for the family willing to give him guidance, structure, and lots of love, he promises something pretty special in return: loyalty, laughter, and a lifetime of happy wiggles.

If you’re searching for a fun-loving, affectionate Valentine who’s ready for adventures and snuggles alike, Irwin might just be your perfect match.
Bring the whole family (older kids included!) to meet him and see if this sweet boy steals your heart.
