My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Irwin!

This lovable goofball is ready to find his forever family—and he’s bringing plenty of charm, enthusiasm, and wiggles with him! Irwin has grown up into a big, happy dog with a puppy-like heart. He has gained some weight since and will benefit from a family committed to healthy exercise and a steady routine to help him slim back down.

Irwin has lived with kids before and absolutely adores them—sometimes a little too much! He gets very eager to show affection, so dog-savvy kiddos who don’t mind a big, excited friend would be ideal. As always, we encourage a family meet-and-greet.

On walks, Irwin is excited to meet other dogs and greets them with his signature joyful energy. However, he has not lived with other dogs or cats, so slow, proper introductions are a must. With patience and structure, he could adapt well to a variety of home setups.

Irwin loves his crate and does well when left alone, especially since his playful side can get him into mischief if he’s unattended. He’s also a toy fanatic—if it squeaks, bounces, or can be carried proudly around the house, he’s all in! He rides nicely in the car and is always up for adventures, exploring new places, and sniffing all the good smells.

Whether you have doggy playmates at home or plan to give him social time through walks, friends’ dogs, or daycare, Irwin thrives when he has outlets for his energy.

If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, adventure-ready companion who will keep you laughing, Irwin might just be your guy! Bring the whole family—two- and four-legged alike—for a meet and greet to see if he’s the perfect fit.
