☕️ Meet Frappe – the shy bean turning into a classic brew! 🐾
Frappe is finally coming out of his shell in foster care, and we’re loving every silly second. With his growing confidence and goofy charm, this pup’s got the recipe for sweetness just right.
Snack review? Let’s spill the beans: 🐟 Salmon snacks? Two paws up! 🐮 Beef liver? Brew-tiful! 🦆 Duck jerky? NOMS.
🥕 Carrots, apples, and frozen sweet potato? Politely declined.
✔️ Making progress with new people! (Treats help. Lots of treats.) ✔️ Dog-friendly! I love a good playdate ✔️Cat-compatible (with dog-savvy cats) after appropriate introductions ✔️ House training in progress – I’m learning how to ask to go out ✔️ Crate trained! I can chill in a kennel when you're busy ✔️ Leash skills? Nature walks are my jam. Traffic can be scary ✔️ Home Manners in progress? I'm doing great in my foster home, but I'll need to learn the rules at your place ✔️ Car rides? I ride like a pro... but not sure I love it
❌ Probably not the best fit for young kids yet – I need a calm space to build confidence. ⚠️ New places and people? Spooky at first. I need time, patience, and a slow introduction.
We can’t wait for this little cup of joy to find his forever café (aka home) where he’ll keep growing into the brave, playful companion he’s meant to be. If you are interested in learning more or would like to set up a meet-and-greet please fill out an adoption application on our website: www.hsbcpets.com/adopt

More about this shelter
The Humane Society of Barron County is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter serving Barron County and surrounding areas.
Established in 1978 by a small but dedicated group of core volunteers, the HSBC started out with these volunteers taking animals into their own homes and advertising the need for forever homes for these animals. Over the years, since this humble beginning the HSBC has grown into the organization that it is today. From the homes of volunteers, relying on fundraising and the generous donations of our community, we have grown into and remain in our home on Guy Avenue in Barron.
HSBC is operated by a small staff and relies heavily on volunteers, as well as funds from donations, adoptions, memberships and fundraisers to keep our doors open for the animals needing our assistance.
We sincerely thank you for making this possible.
