Handsome Major is ready to march his way into your heart. At just a year old, Major shows all the characteristics of a loving, loyal companion.
The Black Mouth Cur is a medium- to large-sized working breed originally bred to assist farmers and hunters. This breed is active, intelligent, and bonds strongly to their owners; Major is no exception! He is potty trained, crate trained, and knows basic commands like “sit” and “no.” He can still learn so much more!
Beneath Major's confident exterior lies a sensitive, affectionate pup who responds best to gentle, positive reinforcement. Once he warms up, Major becomes a total cuddle bug. He enjoys his daily walks and will thrive in a home that can keep up with his playful energy and loving nature.
Major is ready to be your loyal guardian, adventure partner, and snuggle buddy. Could that be you?

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
