My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Eve is full of spark and built for joy. With a goofy grin and a love of snacks, she’s picking up her obedience skills and soaking up every bit of attention that comes her way. She’s all-in when it comes to play, especially with confident male dogs who can match her wild-child energy—and even more devoted when it comes to her people. Behind all that bounce is a big heart. Eve’s been through tough times, but you’d never know it—she’s focused on what’s next, not what’s behind.

She doesn’t need a fixer—just someone ready to keep building her up with structure, patience, and love. Eve is stepping into her own, and she’s ready for a fresh start with you!

More about this shelter

CCA was founded in 1980 by a small group of individuals dedicated to helping animals. Since then, our group has grown to include a small shelter. Our group's mission is varied: to maintain a shelter for abandoned, sick or injured animals; to adopt out dogs and cats to loving permanent homes; to provide for their animals low-cost spay/neuter assistance to families who lack the means to pay; and to strive to prevent and to stop abuse and/or neglect of an animal.

We are always in need of volunteers! If you are interested in becoming a part of our group, please let us know by calling 864.243.4222. We'd be glad to have you on board!
