My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mickie Mackie is a handsome fellow who is recovering from surgery as he had to have 1 eye removed and the the other eye will need to be removed before adoption due to untreated eye issue. With all he has been through is his short life, he is very sweet and willing to please. Navigating with very limited vision has been an interesting challege but he is figuring it out. He is working on learning leash walking by staying close to his person. RIght now he sleeps alot.
Mickie is not a fan of crates but give him a tub full of blankets and he will sleep the night through.

The adoption fee is generally based on the dog's age and provides for neutering or spaying, all required shots, heartworm testing (we endorse "the new moxie-doxy" treatment for heart worms).

It is our expectation & a requirement that heartworm preventative be continued as well as any required vet visits after the pet is adopted.

If for some reason a match isn't made the first time around and you are approved, we will keep your application on file for the next opportunity to arise. Our primary goal is to place a dog in the most suitable environment, based on the animal's individual needs and its temperament. The commitment is lifelong and the Boston's interests are always foremost.
