My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm not 100% positive Rocky is a Boglen but he sure looks like one and many of my Boglen parents says he does.  More info to come after his foster assesses him.  Rocky's owner's grandgirl saved him from going to the shelter or being euthanized after her grandmother passed.  She would have kept him but she already has seven dogs.   Rocky has been around her children ages 3-11.  He is neutered but has a vet visit scheduled for 1/6 where we will have labs drawn on him to check his organ function, get utd on his vaccinations, get tested for heartworms and get a microchip inserted.  He is fully housebroken.  He likes men, women, children of all ages, other dogs and even CATS.  No separation anxiety and doesn't resource guard.  She said he can be hyper sometimes.  Email Carie with Rocky in the subject line at btret.tn.division@gmail.com

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption fee is generally based on the dog's age and provides for neutering or spaying, all required shots, heartworm testing (we endorse "the new moxie-doxy" treatment for heart worms).

It is our expectation & a requirement that heartworm preventative be continued as well as any required vet visits after the pet is adopted.

If for some reason a match isn't made the first time around and you are approved, we will keep your application on file for the next opportunity to arise. Our primary goal is to place a dog in the most suitable environment, based on the animal's individual needs and its temperament. The commitment is lifelong and the Boston's interests are always foremost.

More about this rescue

All breeds have their own particular needs and rescued pets often have special requirements as well, very often in want of medical care, often lacking nourishment and kindness, and often expensive to rehabilitate.

Because we have had Boston Terriers for many years, we are very familiar with their habits, peculiarities and their special needs.

We operate across the southeast under the auspices of the Boston Terrier Rescue Network. We share information and resources in all of the USA with affiliated Boston Rescues.
