Fillmore found himself at the Palmdale Animal Care Center as a stray. When no one came to claim him, we welcomed him into the Frosted Faces family in early January. Estimated to be around 9 years old and weighing 78 lbs., handsome Fillmore is a sweet and gentle soul.
Fillmore has been living with his Foster Family for seven months. Here's their latest update:
“Fillmore is such a fun, easygoing dog to have around! One of his favorite things to do is to go to the park to explore and play fetch he gets so happy chasing the ball and sniffing around. He also enjoys car rides and just being part of whatever we’re doing.
A typical day for Fillmore starts with a morning walk that my husband takes him on before work. He loves this routine and looks forward to it every day. Fillmore hasn’t spent much time directly interacting with other dogs, but he sees them on walks, he may bark occasionally. It seems more like excitement or curiosity.
Fillmore is very gentle and well-mannered when it comes to food, toys, or treats. He allows people to take his food bowl, bones, or toys without any reaction and remains calm and relaxed. He has a playful personality and also enjoys a game of fetch. Fillmore is also potty trained and does very well when left alone.
Fillmore has moderate energy level and really enjoys his daily walks. Walks are one of his favorite parts of the day, and he does great on a leash. After some activity, he’s happy to relax and lounge at home. He’s such a wonderful companion and brings a lot of joy to our daily routine.”
Fillmore is doing great in his Foster home but is still on the lookout for a forever family. Might that be you?
