Zoey Honeymoon was surrendered by her owners for unknown reasons to LA Animal Care and Control's Lancaster Shelter. The date she was left at the shelter coincided with the anniversary of The Honeymooners' debut, which is how she received her unique middle name!
Zoey is 10 years old and weighs 67 lbs. She is friendly, gentle, and loves people. She is good with other dogs but not cats. Zoey loves going on our weekly Sunday hikes and walks on leash alongside her Frosted friends. And if you're looking for a running buddy, she is up for that, too!
Zoey currently lives in a Foster home while she waits for her forever home. Her foster family only has positive things to report!
"Zoey really is just a sweet, perfect little pittie princess. She is friendly and loving with all humans, including silly kids! Zoey is playful and likes tug-of-war and hide and seek. She rides great in the car, takes treats gently, and loves being with her people.
Zoey eats great, currently eating kibble with a little cheese and water. She is fully house-trained and hasn't had a single accident.
Zoey is a great walking partner who does well with Gentle Leader–style collar. With proper introductions, she does well with other dogs that respect her space, and she has formed a sweet companionship with our large dog."
