My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sabrina, a sweet and gentle black-and-white beauty with a heart full of love! This friendly girl is the perfect mix of playful and calm. Whether she is chasing her favorite feather on a string toy or curling up for a nap in a sunny spot, Sabrina is always full of joy and warmth. Want to become her instant best friend? Give Sabrina a tasty cat treat or some wet canned food. You'll have a fan forever!

Her soft purrs and gentle nature make her an ideal companion for anyone looking for a loving, easy going cat. Her new parent or family will need to be cautious with Sabrina around open doors as she is tempted to explore forbidden outdoors. It is too dangerous outside, you daring little girl! Sabrina thrives on human companionship, but she may not be the biggest cat fan around. She prefers the company of people who can give HER lots of attention. If you're looking for a cat who is as sweet as she is playful, Sabrina might just be the one for you!

Additional adoption info

Our Adoption Process

We have a clear and well-structured process in place to find the best possible homes for our animals in need. This process begins with you filling out our pre-adoption questionnaire designed to collect important details and insights from potential adopters and answer any questions you may have. Once complete, we move forward by setting up a visit for you to meet our cats in person. One of our Adoption Coordinators will provide a tour of our facility and introduce you to our available cats. Our adoption coordinators have extensive knowledge of every cat and can help answer questions about individual personalities, habits, and special needs. Should you decide to choose a specific cat during this meeting, we then schedule a home visit to deliver your new pet, ensure it’s a safe and suitable environment, and provide a care kit for the new pet. To support a smooth transition, we also make a follow-up call about a week later to see how everything is going to ensure both the adopter and the cat are settling in well together.

Please contact us at adopt@azshfa.org for information on our wonderful kitties. Interested adopters should complete an Adoption Request Form located at https://www.safehavencats.org/site-visit-form-1

An adoption volunteer will be in touch with you after review of your pre-adoption questionnaire. We will then set up an appointment to meet our kitties at the shelter.

We do not do same day adoptions.

More about this rescue

Safe Haven for Animals was founded in late 2004 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill shelter, with the mission of providing as many cats as possible with a safe and happy home, preventing untimely endings to their lives. There is no time limit on any cat's stay, ensuring that euthanasia is a last resort reserved only for those whose health conditions are irreparable. The core purpose of the organization is clear: to save the lives of cats. The joy of the shelter comes from the adoption process, where our goal is to unite each cat with a loving family, thereby enriching both the lives of the animals and the people who welcome them.
