Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chancey is ready to start anew after being rescued from unacceptable living conditions. Thanks to a compassionate neighbor, Chancey is now seeking a nurturing environment where he can thrive. This affectionate dog adores people and loves going on walks, chewing bones, and relaxing in straw. Chancey has endured a tough past, but he's eager to begin a joyful life filled with love and comfort. Chancey is a Cane Corso mix, making him a unique character. We prefer a home for Chancey that is experienced with the breed to help understand him and his needs He's excellent with kids, including newborns, and enjoys snuggling with blankets. While Chancey isn't fond of cats and can be selective around dogs, we're confident he'll flourish with a meet and greet. This charming boy is housebroken, crate-trained, loves car rides, and doesn't mind bath time. Chancey just needs someone to give him a chance and spoil him in his golden years. By adopting Chancey, you'll be giving him a second chance at a happy life filled with freedom, relaxation, and love. Adopt Chancey today and empower him to reach his full potential. If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Our adoption process is made up of two parts. Upon a decision to adopt an animal we require an application for adoption that asks questions such as housing and veterinary references. We then check references and may require a home visit. Upon approval you will fill out a contract for adoption and pay the adoption fees. Adoption fees are based on age and vetting required.
