Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Midnight – The Shining Star of Your Next Adventure! ✨🐾
Midnight is a handsome adult male dog with a sleek, shiny coat and a heart as warm as his sweet, friendly smile. He’s the total package — affectionate, well-mannered, and always ready for fun!
This lovable guy gets along great with other dogs and is gentle and playful with kids, making him a fantastic fit for a family home. Midnight especially loves water — whether it's a splash in a kiddie pool or a swim in the lake, he’s happiest when he’s wet and wagging!
Obedient and eager to please, Midnight already knows how to be a good boy and will happily show off his manners. Whether you’re heading out for a day of play or snuggling in for a quiet night, he’s just happy to be by your side.
Midnight is ready to brighten your days — come meet this sweet boy and see why everyone falls in love with him!

The AWL is here to find the best match possible between adopters and the animals in our care. Keep in mind that a pet’s personality is way more important, and it’s best to try to find a pet that will fit into your lifestyle.

More about this shelter
The Animal Welfare League is a non-profit organization committed to advocating for animal protection and welfare. We are based in Port Charlotte, Florida. Since 1963 our shelter has served the Charlotte County community by providing a temporary home, medical service and caring attention for many dogs, cats and other animals. These animals come to us as strays, pets given up by their owners, unfortunate animals rescued from abuse and neglect, or simply lost pets in need of being re-united with their families.
