Meet Charlie! This boy is so ready for, forever. If you are looking for a running buddy, or a dog to do agility or nose work - he is your boy! Just know this is a fella that LOVES exercise; he NEEDS exercise, he is a heeler after all! After all the exercise he does love his belly rubs and tons of snuggles too.
He currently lives with three foster siblings and loves to run and play. He would do best in a home without young children as he does “heel” and when excited will give slight heel nips. He is very much a Velcro dog and simply loves to be with his people. If you are looking for a buddy that loves to do things and you are active this is your true buddy!

CRNE Adoption Application:

Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.
If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.
Charlie’s adoption donation is $500 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test, is on preventative, microchip and Neuter depending on age at time of adoption. If the dog is too young for a spay/neuter, then they will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract and deposit. We do not have a physical shelter; all our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
