Meet Spot, a 9-month-old, 38.1-pound American Pit Bull Terrier mix with a playful spirit and a goofy personality that’s impossible not to love. Spot is an active little lady who’s always on the move and loves meeting new people. She’s the kind of pup who wants to be part of the action and is happiest when she’s included in whatever her people are doing.
While she hasn’t shown a ton of interest in toys just yet, she does enjoy chasing them and seems to have a blast just being silly and playful. Spot would thrive in a fun, active home that can keep up with her energy and give her the attention and adventures she craves. If you`re looking for a spirited sidekick who’s always ready to go, Spot might just be your girl!

Our adoption fee is $150.00 for dogs, $75 for kittens under 6 months of age and $50 for all cats 6 months and older. This will include a rabies vaccination (if age appropriate), spay or neuter, a microchip with registration, and all other age appropriate vaccinations.

We are the all admittance shelter in Johnson County, we are not a 501c3, but a county run facility. We try our best to place each and every animal. We also house all animals picked up by Animal Control therefore; we intake a high volume of animals each year.
