Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bjorn—our gentle, food-loving tuxedo boy!
Bjorn and his siblings were found abandoned in a box on the side of a road. These babies were only about 8 weeks old when we rescued them.
Bjorn is a striking long-haired tuxedo with silky black fur, a fluffy white chest, and a soft silver undercoat. He has the build—and the fluff—of a Maine Coon or Norwegian Forest Cat mix, with big golden eyes that always seem to be observing quietly from the sidelines.
When he first arrived, Bjorn was timid and cautious. You could tell he wanted affection, but he wasn’t quite sure how to ask for it. Then he discovered Churus, and then everything changed. Bjorn is extremely food-motivated, and once he realized that snacks came with gentle pets and kind voices, he started showing up more and more.
Now, although still a little shy, he's never far away—and never one to miss out on treats. He loves the company of other kittens and finds a lot of comfort in feline companionship. You’ll often catch him curled up next to another cat or quietly following them around the house.
Bjorn loves to play, especially with feather toys, ball towers, and anything with a bell. He has a habit of carrying little catnip mice around like trophies. He’s not loud or wild—just quietly playful and curious in his own sweet way.
He’s still getting used to being picked up, but when you do scoop him into your arms, he relaxes completely and settles in for snuggles. And when he feels safe? He purrs like a little motorboat.
Bjorn will do best in a home with another friendly, confident cat to help him feel secure. He truly thrives with feline friends and must go to a home with at least one other cat.
He is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, up to date on vaccines, and FIV/FeLV negative.
Bjorn may not be the first kitten to run up and climb into your lap—but once he trusts you, he’s all in. He’s sweet, soulful, and very much worth the wait. ?
