My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Margot! 🐾🖤

Margot is a beautiful 9-month-old black kitty with the sweetest personality and a heart full of love. This very nice girl is affectionate, gentle, and enjoys spending time with her people. She loves attention, soft pets, and cozy cuddle time, and she’s always happy to be nearby soaking up love.

Margot is also good with kids, making her a wonderful choice for a family looking for a friendly, easygoing feline companion. She’s past the tiny kitten stage but still young and playful, with the perfect balance of fun energy and calm affection.

Margot is ready for her forever home—a place where she can feel safe, loved, and cherished every day. She’s a truly sweet girl who will make a wonderful addition to just about any loving household. 🐱

More about this shelter

The Gulf Coast Humane Society is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization dedicated to serving the animals and community of Southwest Florida. We receive no federal, state, or county funding, nor do we receive financial support from the Humane Society of the United States. Instead, our lifesaving work is made possible through the generosity of individual donations, grants, bequests, and community fundraising efforts.

As a no kill shelter, Gulf Coast Humane Society is committed to providing compassionate care for unwanted, neglected, and abandoned animals. We never euthanize due to space constraints or the length of time an animal has been in our care. Our mission is to give every animal the second chance they deserve in a safe and loving environment.
