My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello Sedona,

I am a gentle mixed canine with soulful eyes and a heart full of love. I am a loyal canine and always ready to lean in for a cuddle or a comforting paw. I enjoy walks and running on the trails. I also enjoy quiet time by your side, content just to be near my favorite people. I look forward to spending the rest of my life in my new forever home and by your side as your protector!

I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

If I sound like a good fit for you and your family...I would love to spend the rest of my life with you! If I sound like a good fit for you, please contact the loving folks at the Humane Society of Sedona at: 928.282.4679 any day of the week 10am-4pm; excluding major holidays and come say `hi!`

More about this shelter

Our Vision - Be Our Heart & Voice
Building a caring community where every adoptable and treatable pet finds a life-long loving home.

Our Mission
The Humane Society of Sedona is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of pets in our community and beyond. The Society has served the Verde Valley since 1966.

The Linda and Allan Brecher Center for Animals at the society is designed to allow every person, who desires the love of a pet, to adopt and provide a forever loving home. The Center provides quality care and positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable pets. Passionate volunteers help walk and socialize the pets in our care. Foster pet parents are an important part of caring for pets outside the Center.

The Society provides vital services for pets and people alike through income-based affordable spay/neuter surgeries and vaccination clinics. Also, for families in need to feed their pets, we have a Pet Food Program.

Another public resource is our adult and youth educational programs.

The Society relies on community support, contributions, grants, bequests, investments, proceeds from the Society’s thrift stores and some fees for service in order to save pets’ lives.
