Chica is a 2-year-old Pug/Boxer mix with a HUGE personality and an even bigger heart.

She's a one-pup superstar!

Other dogs and cats? Not her vibe. Being the only pet in the house is her preferred lifestyle.

Once she opens up, Chica loves to show off her cutesy spins. She plays hard and entertains everyone around her.

She's smart, affectionate, and obsessed with her toys.

She even crushed it as an office dog, with professional good vibes only.

Chica is looking for a family who can keep up with her energy, shower her with love, and give her all the attention she deserves.

Goofy, playful, and totally heart-stealing, Chica is ready to be the star of her forever home.

All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months). All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. To adopt you must have a photo ID and proof of your current address. If not on your ID then bring in a bill with your name and your current address. If you rent you must provide a lease clearly stating the pet policy or provide a name and phone number for your landlord so that we may confirm the pet policy. If you own your home you may provide a mortgage statement or property tax bill for proof.

You must be 18 years or older to adopt.

If you wish to adopt a dog and have other dog(s) at home, please bring them with you to the shelter so that they may meet. Even if your dog is wonderful with other dogs, many of the dogs at the shelter have come in as strays so we have no history on them and need to be sure they get along with your pet(s).
