My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Please contact Thomas (Tom06661@live.com) for more information about this pet.

This cute black kitty is our Farrah girl. Her and her foster sister Winnie were brought in by Waste Management. They were living in the WM facilities and when they caught them, they brought them to us, we call them our trash girls or the garbage pail kids. Now she is in our Foster System looking for a forever home!

Farrah was recently treated for Urinary Tract Infections and Ear mites.

Farrah is a quiet cat and keeps to herself for the most part. She gets along with most cats but does have a few arch nemesis's that she does not get along with. Farrah is a sweet cat deep down and is looking for a home that she can call her own where she can relax and open up and show love. She is a relaxed cat most of the time with not a care in the world. Like all cats that have lived on the street, she will need patience with love and care in her forever home.

If you would like to meet Farrah please stop in at our habitat in the Petco Mechanicsburg location!

If you are interested in adopting Farrah please fill out an adoption application for on our website.

Additional adoption info

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. For more information, see our website at www.castawaycritters.org.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

Please also check out our events page on our website as fosters sometimes bring their available animals out to meet people!

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
