My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bo’s Compatibility:
Dogs - Let’s do a meet and greet
Cats - Bo said no to sharing his living space with a cat
Kids - Yes, ages 8 and older

Bo is a lovebug with a side of goofball and a dash of athlete. He greets every person with tail wags, bright eyes, and full-on enthusiasm, ready to play, cuddle, or just be near the people he loves. His love language is physical touch, and he won’t hide it. High-fives, snuggles, and belly rubs are basically his specialty.

He’s crate-trained, walks well on a leash once he finds his rhythm, and has the energy to keep up with any adventure you’ve got planned. He’s great with kids 8 and up, and if you have a dog at home, we’ll set up a meet and greet to make sure everyone’s ready to be friends.

Check out the video under his profile picture to see Bo in action. His playful antics and big-hearted personality shine through. Come meet him in person and see why he’s the kind of companion you can’t help but fall for!

More about this shelter

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.

This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
