Tommy is an athletic boy ready to win your heart. This strapping boy with soft velvet fur enjoys his walks on the shelter’s trail, and he loves playing fetch with tennis balls. He excitedly bounces after the ball, leaping high into the air. It’s a total joy to watch him go!
Tommy is just as sweet as he is playful. He leans in with his whole body for pets, giving you a happy smile. He likes to snuggle up close, resting his chin on you.
He loves treats, and he takes them very softly. He sits so patiently for them, although he can’t help but wiggle his butt and tap his paws out of excitement while waiting. He can get excited, especially when meeting new people, so he would appreciate a patient, consistent owner who can help reinforce good manners.
Tommy is housebroken, and since he can be an enthusiastic boy, he would do best in a home with kids aged 13 and up who can be respectful of his space. He’s never lived with cats, but we can test him at the shelter to see how he’d do. Bring in your dogs to meet him and see if they click.
