My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cinnamon is a quiet soul with a heart full of hope, slowly blooming after a rough start in life. At around 4 years old, this beautiful Husky has lived on the streets and has every reason to be cautious. But through it all, she’s remained unfailingly gentle, carrying herself with a quiet grace that’s impossible to ignore. Cinnamon may not run up to you for attention, but she watches with soft eyes, waiting for the kindness she’s learning to trust again 🐾💛.

This sweet girl is ready for a family who understands that patience is love in action. Cinnamon thrives in calm, reassuring spaces where she can take her time learning the rhythm of a real home. She may retreat at first, unsure of the unfamiliar, but every tiny sign of trust—every tail wag, every quiet lean into a hand—feels like magic ✨. She doesn't demand attention, but when she offers you her affection, it means everything. Her ideal home is one where someone sees the beauty in the slow and steady 🐶💫.

Cinnamon is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. Like all pets, she'll need an adjustment period to get comfortable, settle into routines, and feel secure 🏡❤️. If you’re the kind of person who believes in second chances and the power of gentle love, Cinnamon just might be the one waiting for you.

More about this rescue

The vision of Animal Compassion Team has been years in the making, shaped by hard work, heartbreak, and an unwavering love for animals. Despite the challenges, we chose this path because saving lives matters—it's that simple. Every dog, cat, and animal we rescue reaffirms our commitment to making a difference. In August 2009, we took a leap of faith and became a 501(c)3 non-profit, ready to turn hope into action. Each life saved makes every effort worthwhile, and we look forward to sharing countless happy endings.

Our Mission Statement
To provide a safe haven for animals of all breeds and species through rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, and sanctuary. To advocate for humane treatment, promote the human-animal bond, and educate about kindness, compassion, and responsible pet ownership, emphasizing spaying and neutering. Together with other rescues and shelters, we strive toward a no-kill nation.
