“She reminds me of a pot-bellied pig with her little snorts. She was friendly to everyone who stopped by!” – Acadia, AFF Staff
To know Matilda is to love Matilda. This NYC ACC alum is equal parts silly and sweet, a little whirlwind of joy who wins over everyone she meets. She’s now in a loving foster home where she goes for daily walks, spends time with her people, and enjoys plenty of cozy naps in between her bursts of play.
Matilda adores her dog friends and even lived with one during her time here. She’s the type to run zoomies for a few minutes, then happily flop down to observe the world or lean into a good snuggle. Her foster family says she’s been an absolute joy to have around, and they adore her. She’s crate-trained, affectionate, and always ready for fun.
If her goofy personality doesn’t make you smile, her piglet snorts and sleepy snores definitely will. Matilda has a way of making every day lighter just by being herself.
Matilda at a Glance:
-Crate-trained and enjoys her daily walks
-Loves playing with dogs
-Playful but also loves quiet hangouts and people time

More about this rescue
Animal Farm Foundation gets to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
Located in Dutchess County NY, AFF has been working nationally to secure equal treatment and opportunity for “pit bull” dogs since 1985.
OUR ORGANIZATION
Animal Farm Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation, has been rescuing and re-homing animals, as well as making grants to other humane organizations, since the mid-1980's.
We currently dedicate our resources to securing equal treatment and opportunity for "pit bull" dogs. Whether the dog is called a "pit bull" because of a documented pedigree, or merely on the basis of physical appearance, recognizing that these dogs are individuals for whom we are responsible is an integral step toward a compassionate future for all dogs.
