My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***Adoption Fee WAIVED***

Hi, I'm Cece - a young pit bull mix with a heart full of love and a fresh chapter ahead of me! I recently raised a beautiful litter of pups (supermom status unlocked!), and now it's my turn to shine. I'm ready for a forever home where I can be the star of the show and soak up all the love I gave so freely as a mama.

I'm super affectionate and show it with the sweetest hugs - yep, full-on paws-around-you love! I adore tasty treats, enjoy strolls in the sunshine, and love being close to my people. With my stunning red and white coat and soulful eyes, I'm not just sweet... I'm a total head-turner. Let's start our new life together - I've got so much love to give.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
