Say “Hello” to an incredible pup named Coach, a 5-year-old Lab mix who’s on the lookout for his forever home. If you’re in search of a loving companion who will fill your life with joy and laughter, Coach just might be your perfect match! Coach is the kind of dog who knows how to give you all the feels. With his big, expressive eyes and gentle demeanor, he’ll melt your heart in no time. Coach is also an outdoor enthusiast! He loves going for walks and will make an excellent hiking buddy. He walks at a nice pace, checks in with you frequently, and is always up for exploring new trails. Imagine the adventures you could share! While Coach is incredibly loving, he does have some unique needs that his future owner should be aware of. He can be protective over his humans and his space, so it’s important to have an owner who is comfortable taking the lead and setting clear boundaries. With his tendency to resource guard people, he would do best in a home without small children. Coach will also need to be the only pet, he prefers all the love to himself. If you think you might be the right fit for this special boy, reach out to Home Fur Good. Coach’s adoption fee is $250, including spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Please don't hesitate to schedule an appointment to meet Coach by calling 602-971-1334. You can also visit us Thursday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm when we are open for walk-ins.

Home Fur Good has trained adoption counselors to review and question any potential problems/issues with application. We do require an adoption fee which ranges for dogs $150-$300 and for cats $50-$100. All cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked.
If another dog or dogs are present in the household we require a meet and greet prior to adoption. All members of the household must be on board with adoption. We do not adopt our rescues out without meeting person that will be responsible - no "gift" adoptions. We contract that if cat/dog must be relinquished they are returned to us. If there is a change of ownership we must be kept informed who responsible party is. Fees are non refundable.

More about this rescue
Home Fur Good is a non profit no kill animal shelter located in the NE Valley. We take a majority of our cats and dogs from County, many who have treatable medical conditions and would otherwise be put down. We assess physical and behavior and work with the cats/dogs to find the best suitable match. It is our goal that each cat or dog that comes to our shelter ultimately be placed in their "furever" homes.
We also operate a low cost vaccine and microchip clinic each Sunday. We want to help community be able to care for and keep their animals safe. We do not charge vet fee only fee for vaccine and microchip. Additionally we have a low cost dental clinic each Wednesday. Check our website for more details.
