Eclair & Twix – Inseparable Best Friends Need a Forever Home Together

Found tied to a porch on July 30th, Eclair and Twix share a special bond that can’t be broken. These two sweet companions sleep cuddled up and rely on each other for comfort and friendship. Because of their close connection, they must be adopted together.

Eclair is a playful shepherd-pit bull mix who is still working on her leash skills but eager to learn and full of love.

Twix is a gentle, sweet chihuahua who adores quiet moments and being near his best friend.

They would thrive in a home that can offer patience, training, and lots of affection for both pups. If you’re looking to add two loyal friends who come as a pair, Eclair and Twix are the perfect match!

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We prefer to schedule appointments for meet-and-greets to ensure that staff or volunteers are available to spend adequate time helping you/

Meet the Pet

For safety reasons, please do not reach into kennels or attempt to touch animals through barriers. If you’re interested in a particular pet.

3.
Submit Application

After your visit, you’re welcome to submit an adoption application.

4.
Approve Application

After the application is submitted, we will review it and contact you if your application is chosen.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once your application is approved, we will contact you to finalize the adoption process!

All that is needed for the adoption application is a

We are located at 1600 Johnson Road in Petersburg, Virginia.
Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday 10am till 3pm.
We are closed Saturdays and Sundays (as well as holidays) but are available by appointment outside of our open hours.
